Weight and size:
- Weight: 5.2-5.6 kg
- Height: 21-23 inches
Sensory development:
- Eyesight: can see objects at a distance of 18 inches. Look at moving objects.
- Hearing: can hear more clearly and recognise your (mother, father or primary caregiver) voice.
- Speech: mostly communicate with crying but may starts cooing.
Motor development:
- Developing more control over the body at the age of 2 months.
- Can hold their head more steadier.
- Starts sucking her hands.
- Move her head with moving objects.
Social development:
- Starts looking at familiar faces like caregiver and other family members and smiles.
Baby’s daily routine:
- Feeding: Only give milk to your baby. Breastfeeding babies feed after every 2-3 hours. While formula feeding babies feed after 4 hours. Total 25 ounces of milk in one day.
- Poop: Breastfeeding babies may go 4-5 days without any bowel movement. Formula feeding babies poop daily.
- Playing: Exercise like legs bicycling, massage, bring bright color toys, moving objects and talk to your baby to improve her neuro development. Do tummy time.
- Sleeps 14 to 15 hours a day.
