Weight and size:

  • Weight: 7.9 – 8.6 kg. 
  • Height: 27-27.75 inches. 

Sensory development:

  • Eyesight: can see like an adult, observe surroundings and know recognize all colors. 
  • Hearing: can hear clearly and can understand YES and NO.
  • Speech: produce sounds like ma ma, or da da but not understand the meaning yet.
  • Taste and touch sensations are much developed.

Motor development:

  • Starts crawling. 
  • Sits without support. 
  • Bear weight on legs.
  • Stand with support

Social development:

  • Recognize faces and may starts crying in front of strangers shows separation anxiety and stranger anxiety.
  • Respond to name. 
  • Enjoys touching and respond to it with smiling. 
  • Enjoy Peek-a-Boo

Baby’s daily routine:

  • Feeding: breastfeed or formula milk and solid food. 32 ounces of milk per day. 2-3 ounces of solid food (puree) 3-4 times a day. 
  • Poop: daily or may be after 2-3 days. Poop pattern developed.
  • Playing time: exercises, toys, massage, talk to your baby, introduce finger foods to your baby. Baby starts standing and crawling so, his/her favorite play is to reach the target toys.
  • Sleep: 11-14 hours a day. 10 hours in night and take small naps during the day time (2 times).
